Booking terms

Sportly lets you find sports venues, sessions and socials and book them online. Venues are run by independent venue operators ("hosts"). When you book, your contract for the session is with the host; Sportly provides the platform and takes payment on the host's behalf.

Bookings and payment

• You need an account to book. You must give accurate details and be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian make the booking.
• Selecting sessions starts a short reservation hold. Your booking is only confirmed once payment succeeds. If payment is not completed before the hold expires, the sessions are released.
• Prices are shown before you pay. A non-refundable service fee is added at checkout and shown as a separate line.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Sportly does not store your card details.

Cancellations and refunds

Each host chooses whether guests can cancel online and how far ahead of the session a cancellation earns an automatic refund. The policy for a venue is shown at checkout and on your booking page. See the refund policy for details. If a host cancels a session, you are refunded the session price.

Your responsibilities

• Arrive on time and follow the venue's rules and staff instructions.
• You are responsible for any damage you or your group cause to the venue or equipment.
• Hosts may refuse entry or end a session for unsafe or abusive behaviour, with no refund.

Release and waiver

Sport and physical activity carry a risk of injury. By booking, you confirm that you are physically fit to take part, you take part at your own risk, and, to the extent the law allows, you release the host and Sportly from claims arising from ordinary risks of the activity. This does not limit any rights you have under consumer law or any liability that cannot be excluded, including for negligence that causes death or personal injury where the law does not allow it to be excluded.

Hosts

Hosts are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the availability and safety of their facilities, and for honouring confirmed bookings. Sportly may remove listings or suspend accounts that breach these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you book applies to that booking.
